 My love for the Jack Russell Terrier dates back to my childhood passion of wanting to have a dog of my own. A dear little companion to go through the rough patches of childhood with. A close friend to share my little secrets. But parental restriction never gave me the opportunity to be the hero in the Famous Five series (always solving mysteries with a dog). I could only dream of having one in my dreams. And while the dawning of Christmases and birthdays did bring with them some hopes, that dream was never materialised.... I could only contend myself with more weaved up stories of my own little imaginery dog. Of course, catching the legendary Lassie on the small screen did not really help...
 Perhaps the pent up longing for a dog over the years have been so great that the moment I got my own place, I have, not just one Russell, but as you can see in the pages that follow, many many Russells! Call it my obssession. But who can fault me when they are such loving companions and such highly addictive ones! Once you have one, you long for another... and the numbers never lessen! Life without these little critters would have been boring and it takes someone with a sense of humour to be able to appreciate these lovely little terriers.
Here at WindCharm, we are a small family breeding Jack Russell Terriers from Australian lines registered in Singapore with full pedigree. We aim to produce not only quality show winners, but sound and loving pets for the family as well. Temperament and health are therefore highly regarded in our breeding programme. And because we are located in a small country with land scarcity issues, we have to ensure that we keep and breed only from the best specimens of the breed. Many a times we have been accused of being fussy, but that is only because we want to better the breed.
All our little terrier companions live with us together in the house as members of the family. With their funny antics, I wouldn't want them any other way.
